Two well appointed lough-side cottages available to rent, which have been refurbished to a high stamdard including a new heating system during the COVID19 lockdown period, for self-catering holiday accommodation.
Perched right on the shore of a beautiful lake known as Sweethope Lough, which is extensively renowned for its trout and fly fishing, nestles this pair of single storey crofts which provide charming self-catering holiday cottages in an idyllic setting.
Built from traditional Northumbrian stone, these cottages offer a truly rural hideaway with a unique view. Surrounded by miles of open countryside and woodland the properties are positioned on the exclusive Ray Estate.
Formerly owned by the great inventor and industrialist Newcastle born Charles Parsons, the Estate was purchased by Viscount Devonport's family in 1954. Since then the Estate has been painstakingly restored and developed over the years by Lord Devonport.
